On this tour you will explore 2 different mountains (Thajeko mountain and Kerjerthae mountain). You will trek and explore the diverse and lush forest featuring a wide variety of ecosystems, flora, and fauna. These 2 different mountains will let you experience and enjoy different mountain landscape views. You will stay overnight at Karen Hilltribe homestay. Each day you will trek 4-5 hours. 11-12 km per day.
2 Days trek (Mountain trek in (non-touristic trail + Ethical Elephant Sanctuary + Bamboo Rafting + Karen Hilltribe homestay)
On this tour you will learn about the Asian elephants, spend quality time with the elephants and feed them with local fruit and bamboo. You will then get to relax taking in scenery whilst bamboo rafting along the local river. You will stay overnight at the Karen Hilltribe village homestay. You will adventure trek to Thajeko Mountain experiencing the lush nature and mountain landscapes. You will trek 4-5 hours. Total trek Distance 15 Km. Difficulty: Medium.
2 Days trek (Explore Roof of Thailand + Mountain Trek +Karen Hilltribe homestay)
On this tour you will reach and explore the highest spot of Thailand 2565 meters above sea level. Visit the prestigious King and Queen Pagodas. See the stunning Wachirathan, Sirithan and Maeklang waterfalls. You will stay overnight at the Karen Hilltribe village homestay. You will adventure trek to Thajeko Mountain experiencing the lush nature and mountain landscapes. This tour will give you insight into the traditional ways of rural mountain village life. Trek distance 12 km. Difficulty Medium.
Thai Eco Trek Adventures trekking trails are located in Chom Thong district which is Karen Hilltribe people homeland and the location of the highest mountain In Thailand. Our trekking trails are in 2 different national parks. Doi Inthanon and Obluang national parks. They are located South of Chiang Mai province.
