1-Day Chiang Mai Authentic Trek Experience
07:45–08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup
Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive south of Chiang Mai. Enjoy the scenery as
we head into the countryside.
Local Market Visit
Stop at a traditional Thai market to buy lunch and drinking water. Your guide will introduce
you to local ingredients, snacks, and the way villagers shop each day.
Scenic Viewpoint Stop
On the way to Khun Poi Village, we’ll pause at a beautiful mountain viewpoint—perfect for
photos and soaking in the valley views.
Arrive at Khun Poi Village (Karen Hill Tribe)
Khun Poi is a Karen hill tribe community surrounded by lush mountains and farmland. Learn
about their agricultural lifestyle and unique culture.
Trek Begins – School Visit
Start trekking from the village school, where you can see the children enjoying their day.
This is a warm and memorable cultural touch.
Mountain & Forest Trek
Hike through rice fields, evergreen forest, and natural trails filled with edible plants, herbs,
and many types of vegetation.
Your guide will show you plants used for food, medicine, and daily life.
Phalai Mountain Peak
Reach the top of Phalai Mountain, located between Chom Thong and Mae Wang districts
and connected to the Doi Inthanon National Park area.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the valley, village, and surrounding mountains.
Wildlife often found here includes wild boar, gibbons, barking deer, and many bird species.
Forest Lunch
Enjoy a heathy lunch in the forest with fresh air and peaceful mountain surroundings.
Continue Trek Through Hill Tribe Farms
After lunch, follow a beautiful mountain path passing local crops such as coffee, passion
fruit, cape gooseberry, tomatoes, zucchini, taro, and more.
Learn about the local farming lifestyle and how the community lives in harmony with
nature.
Hidden Waterfall Refresh
After the trek, cool off at a secluded waterfall—perfect for swimming, relaxing, and taking
photos. Return to Chiang Mai Drive back to the city after a refreshing break. Arrive at your
hotel around 5:00–6:00 PM.
